In 2007, Eric Galvez started a group on facebook called “TUMORS SUCK” to find people that felt the same way about brain tumors. He found that many people felt the same way about ALL types of tumors. His friend Susie Ghahremani designed a logo for him to help him express his irreverent attitude towards all tumors. People started posting pictures of the “TUMORS SUCK” logo.
In 2008, Eric and his friends created the website www.mAssKickers.org and began posting interviews and articles for newly diagnosed patients.
In 2009, mAss Kickers was officially incorporated in CA, USA as a charitable organization; mAss Kickers Foundation.
In 2010, mAss Kickers Foundation attained 501c3 federal tax exemption status.
