Look Good Feel Better Look Good Feel Better workshops are supportive, inspiring, informative and full of easy strategies for managing the effects that cancer and its treatments can have on a woman’s appearance. The program consists of a free two-hour workshop where women gather with industry-trained volunteers who teach them simple and effective techniques for skin care, cover-up, eyes and colour, as well as hair alternatives. Look Good Feel Better was created from the belief that if a woman with cancer can be helped to look good, chances are she’ll feel better, her spirits will be lifted and she’ll be empowered to face her illness with greater confidence. It allows women to take charge of how they look and feel during their cancer journey. These workshops are open to women facing any type of cancer and any type of treatment and are offered at 120 hospital and cancer care facilities across Canada. Special workshops for teens are available at selected locations. For more on Look Good Feel Better program see the website link below and register for the newsletter and magazine to stay connected.

CCTFA Foundation The Canadian, Cosmetics, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation was established in 1992 when the personal care products industry pledged their commitment to women with cancer. The CCTFA Foundation has, over the years, grown to support women facing cancers through new mediums with the FacingCancer.ca online community, the annual magazine, monthly e-newsletters and a toll-free information line.
